The Vedema

Join together in celebrating the rich tradition of winemaking as you follow the journey of grapes from harvest to barrel, with pressing beginning in late August under the stars, men braving must fumes, and Vinsanto grapes sun-dried for ten days before pressing. Culminating on October 22nd, the feast day of St. Averkios, barrels are blessed and opened, and the new wines are joyously tasted amid festivities, songs, and dances.
